FIREZZ is adding e-book publishing to its publishing activities. Encompassing artist books, monographs, exhibition catalogues, and studies in aesthetics and theory, FIREZZ Publications begins its publishing journey with its first title, Ertesi Beden, Semyanî Perîzade. Written by Fatih Tan, the book will be released as the inaugural publication of the Aesthetics and Theory Series and made freely available on the FIREZZ website in Turkish and English in both PDF and EPUB formats.
Prepared by Fatih Tan, one of the founding members of the FIREZZ editorial collective, Ertesi Beden, Semyanî Perîzade transforms the intellectual work developed around the artist into a book publication. Published within the Aesthetics and Theory Series, the study represents the first step in FIREZZ Publications’ publishing programme, which brings together artistic production and aesthetic thought.
FIREZZ Publications aims to deliver writings and research accompanying artistic production to readers through the possibilities of digital publishing. Extending from artist books and monographs to exhibition catalogues and studies in aesthetics and theory, the programme focuses on documenting knowledge produced in the field of art, reaching diverse readerships, and creating the conditions for new intellectual encounters.
Making its publications freely accessible reflects FIREZZ’s open-access approach within the field of book publishing. While facilitating access to works in art and critical thought, digitally published books will also enable these studies to circulate more widely.
Beginning with Ertesi Beden, Semyanî Perîzade, FIREZZ Publications will continue its programme with new titles that bring together reflections on artistic practices, aesthetic debates, and theoretical research.
