Tehsîn Baravî, was born in Mardin, Türkiye. He completed his undergraduate studies at the Faculty of Education at Dicle University. He is a co-founder of the Rograf Visual Arts Association. He has participated in numerous photography and art events, taken part in group exhibitions, and held solo exhibitions. He continues to work in the field of visual arts, with artistic explorations of nature and the documentation of natural elements at the core of his practice. In addition to photography, he produces literary translations into Kurdish and works as an editor. He is also engaged in oral history research and in projects dedicated to documenting and archiving folklore and other forms of cultural heritage.
